McMahon House
Our retreats are frequently at McMahon House (https://msmabbey.org/mcmahon-retreat-house) in Franklin, MA, part of St. Mary’s Abbey down the street in Wrentham, MA. It is a blessed location for retreating from our lives to share a weekend in the presence of the Lord and with each other. The address is:

We are all lodge in the retreat house except a few who may at the Abbey down the street. (Those will have to get checked in at the Abbey BEFORE the meeting, as the sisters won’t be available for check-in later in the evening.)
Plan to arrive between 6:00 pm and 7:15 pm to get settled in your room, set up any musical instruments, etc. The meeting starts at 7:30. Jim plans to be there all afternoon. Feel free to come early, settle in, walk the grounds, etc. You can also go to the chapel (open till 7:30 pm) and gift shop (closes at 4:00 pm) at the Abbey down the street. Give Jim a heads up in advance if you plan to arrive before 6:00 pm. If you are staying at the abbey, check in at the abbey’s main entrance. If it is after 5:00pm, please call the Abbey at 508-541-7340 (this number only after 5 pm) to be let in.
Directions:
McMahon House: Get to Exit 16 on I-495. Head South on King Street, going LEFT at Constitution Blvd. and then LEFT onto Upper Union St. If you miss Upper Union, continue on Constitution and turn right at the end after going through the industrial park. (The intersection was changed a while back.)
Drive for about 2 miles until you come to McMahon House, 1061 Upper Union Street; driveway on RIGHT. (# 1061 is written vertically on a white pole. You will see St. Mary’s wind turbine on the left just before you arrive.) Note: Mapquest might place the location before the bend in the road, not at the driveway.
St. Mary’s Abbey: To get to the Abbey, continue on for about 1/4 mile (Upper Union Street becomes Arnold Street) and turn LEFT into the Abbey drive. The address is 300 Arnold Street, Wrentham MA. (The retreat house is in Franklin, the Abbey in Wrentham.)
Parking ad McMahon House: There are a limited number of parking spaces at McMahon House, but you may park on the lawn to the right of the parking area. Parking is permitted on the circle if you do not block the entrance to the house or the driveway that goes out back, there is enough room for people to get by, and you stay off the lawn.
Don’t block the entrance to the mansion, except momentarily to drop off stuff!
